Heart Lifting Publications God has given me a great desire to produce books, booklets, pamphlets and tracts on vital issues and concerns facing the Christian of the 21st century. One book and one booklet are currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION, The ABC's of Christian Growth and Lessons Learned in God's Waiting Room. The ABC's of Christian Growth was first printed in 1978, and was sixty-five pages. This is a discipleship book for new and growing Christians, with alphabetized points throughout all the chapters. I am currently revising and expanding this book into a much more thorough book of over 200 pages. The five chapter titles are as follows: The Alphabet of Knowing Christ Personally The Alphabet of Having Assurance of Salvation The Alphabet of Growing in Christ The Alphabet of Overcoming Temptation The Alphabet of Evangelizing the Lost This book will have several hundred Bible references and will be a very thorough guide to the new and growing Christian. New converts and mature Christians alike will benefit from The ABC's of Christian Growth. It can be used in the following ways and settings: ì Bible curriculum for Christian day schools and homeschoolers ì Personal Bible study ì One-on-one discipleship ì Sunday School curriculum ì A follow-up gift presented by the church to new converts after baptism ì A series of studies in local churches on Sunday or Wednesday nights Initially The ABC's of Christian Growth will be printed as one book, but eventually (as the Lord provides) it will also come out in the form of five booklets. Then, almost ready for publication is Lessons Learned in God's Waiting Room a booklet of about 60 pages. This testimonial will detail a waiting time that Donna and I faced from August of 1998 until September of 2002. This four year wait between being the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and entering full-time evangelism was long, but God used it greatly to teach many life-changing lessons. I believe God will use this booklet in the lives of many who are confronting similar waiting room experiences. Throughout the coming months and years, I hope to add many more books, booklets, pamphlets and tracts to our Store. Heart Lifting Publications will only produce materials that are Biblically sound, Christ-honoring and edifying to God's people.
